Mini Moo Cards
And just in time for my art exhibition in December! I am so happy with the quality and the look. I can’t wait to drop off my artwork next week.

Givenchy
I’ve posted in previous entries that I would love to start customizing Blythes. I’m making a to-do list and trying to figure out what exactly I need to do what I want to do. I’ll be using Christmas money to buy the base doll for starters.
That’s about it. I hope to this girl customized by spring. She will be a blonde or a redhead with short hair. I haven’t decided yet. I want to carve her lips and do her faceup myself. Right now, it’s just in the planning stage. I know I’ll be taking my time and I’m in no rush. This project will be in the backburner.

Chichi is a puff!
Priorities help you finish what you want to finish in the time you want to finish. The key word is “finish.” It’s so easy to start or plan for a thousand projects but finishing is always the problem. Why can’t you finish? Not enough time? Ran out of supplies? No motivation? Got stuck halfway? There a thousand reasons to leave a thousand projects hanging.
This year I’ve been really good about finishing and following through every single project. I want to continue this for 2012.
What I am Doing Now:
What I Want to Be Doing:
The difference between the two lists are four points. Is it really possible for me to do everything I want?
My Top Priorities:
These are in order of importance. I know if I had to pare the list down to bare bones, this is my top three. Then what happens to the rest of the wishlist? How can I make it work? Is it even possible to make it work?
Are you tired of lists yet? If you ever find yourself stuck or feel that you can’t do what you want to do, lists help. I hope it helps you!

Tempura Shrimp!
The above image is what I am craving at the moment. I just adore Japanese food. My weak spots are tuna sashimi, sashimi, softshell crab, and unagi on rice. If I can only enjoy one type of cuisine my entire life, it would be Japanese. The best Japanese food I’ve had in the last five years had to be in Ottawa and in Niagara Falls. Oddly enough, I’ve been to several in the GTA but nothing of the above calibre. If you are a gourmand of Japanese food, avoid buffets. It’s great to gorge and all but the quality in all-you-can-eats are lacking. I recently went to an AYCE called the Dragon Pearl in North York. The food was mediocre and the sashimi inedible. I’m getting older. My stomach is shrinking. It’s time to start a quality control process for what goes in it.
The end is near for Nanowrimo. I’ve hit 30K and there is 20K left to go. It’rs been really difficult trying to to get it done. This means I’m itching to sew like crazy in December. I’ve always had creative ADHD. I just can’t stick to one thing and it’s very difficult for me to just focus on that one thing. I need to have other projects on the go. Focusing on one thing means I can get it done faster as opposed to having three things on the go. For some reason, I can’t though. Nanowrimo is testing my willpower and focus. I want to get this novel done and I know it’s turning out better than I hoped.
In the meantime, I’ve been distracted with Skyrim. Elder Scrolls v: Skyrim is an epic RPG. I’m totally hooked. It has an open gameplay which I adore. I spend hours dungeon crawling and exploring before I even pursue any quests. After a big hiccup when I loaded the game and it froze, it’s been fairly smooth sailing since. It will keep me plenty busy for a while.
I’m also distracted by my upcoming gallery exhibition. This is the first official one I’ve ever had. It is for my beading embroidery work. Having a gallery exhibit has always been a dream of mine and it’s coming true! It will be at the Aboveground Art Store in downtown Toronto located near OCAD and the AGO. OCAD is the Ontario College of Art and Design. I applied to this school and got in. I really wish I had gone there. This is one of my biggest regrets. AGO is the Art Gallery of Ontario. The date is set for Dec 12-Jan12th. I’m dropping off my artwork on Dec 7th. Things are starting to move. If everything goes well, this gallery showing will lead to more opportunities. I have an art store gift certificate on the way for Christmas and I know exactly what to get! I want to make paintings again.
Yes, I am incredibly busy but also incredibly happy.

Charm Packs
I got these fabulous two charm packs and they will be used to make doll-sized quilts and outfits. I’m pretty excited! I’ll be able to start on this project in December when I’m supposed to be “taking time off.”
I also have excellent news! I got accepted to do the Staircase Showcase @ Aboveground Art Store. I’ll post more info in the coming weeks. It will be a showcase of my beading embroidery work!

I am still alive but very busy with Nanowrimo and Skyrim. I am addicted to Skyrim and am still trying to push through the writing. I’m near 20K. I also am in the process of trying to get my artwork into an exhibition. I got Mini Moo cards done up just for the occasion. After November is done, I am back fully into sewing for dolls and embroidery. I still have a huge list of to dos. I’m definitely itching for Dorothy needs to be finished!
Oh! I almost forgot. If you ever want to contact me about my art, etc. My email address is: rosey@sushicandy.ca

Robert and I spent the weekend in Niagara Falls. We hit up the Fallsview Casino, Canadian Midway, two miniature golf courses and a ton of food! Warning, food porn is coming!
First, we had dinner at Vinny’s on Friday night. The food was okay. I really liked the Calamari Fritti, The portion for this appetizer was generous. However, the custom pizza we ordered was meh. The crab cakes were awful– what did I expect from ordering crab cakes at an Italian restaurant.
On Saturday afternoon, we also went to Clifton Hill. I had Dippin Dots for the first time. I have to say it was weird but quite good. It’s teeny tiny balls of frozen ice cream.
We went to Yukiguni Japanese Restaurant on Fallsview Blvd for dinner Saturday night. I can’t rave about it enough. It is excellent and I just completely gorged myself. It’s been a while since I had quality Japanese food. If you love Japanese food, do yourself a favour and drop in on this wonderful gem. The fish was so fresh and so good I ordered twice.
Despite the food adventures, I am on track with Nanowrimo. I have cracked 10K! 😀

Nanowrimo 2011
I am at 7272 words. I’m plugging along and am still a bit behind. I’m in Niagara Falls for a weekend getaway with the husband. I will post a travel post soon! The goal is 50000 words. Wish me luck!

It is underway! I am on day two and I’m fairly on pace. If you want to add me on there, I am tempurashrimp.
Because of Nanowrimo, I have Dorothy stalled. However, I am playing Demon Souls at night when I have spare time if I meet my writing quota. It’ll be a quiet month of November. I will try and post more regularly. To be certain, Craft-plosion will occur in December.
